Treat Yourself to sunshine in the Kay Santa María

Kay Santa María is en a small Kay located in the Bahía de Buena Vista (Good View Bay), off the northern coast of the province of Villa Clara i Cuba. Together with Cayo Las Brujas (Kay The Witches) and Cayo Los Ensenachos (Kay Tassels) form a quiet resort destination with sunning beaches. These keys are connected to the main island of Cuba by a 48-km causeway (called Pedraplen in Spanish), from the coastal town of Caibarien.

Santa María has a privileged natural environment with an extensive stretch of beach and extensive facilities for sport, a gym, water sport and varied daytime and evening entertainment program.

In barely 13 square kilometer Kay Santa María has wonderful beaches for example Playa La Gaviotas (The Seagulls Beach) in the northeast, is backed by the lush vegetation of Cayo Santa María Wildlife Refuge, which shelters birds such as the Cuban trogon.

The Pueblo La Estrella (Village of The Star) complex features a handicraft market, restaurants, bars and shops. Dolphins perform at the Acuario Delfinario Cayo Santa María.

The Kay has a fantastic underwater world, with many species of coral and fish, which attract both professional divers and beginners.
